Services for Oralee Vanhoof will be in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. Burial will be in Alexandria Memorial Gardens. Vanhoof, 87, of Alexandria, died Sunday, Sept. 24, 2000, in Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.

She was a charter member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church and a member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church Altar Society.

Survivors are her husband Julian Vanhoof of Alexandria; son, Julian Vanhoof Jr. of Shreveport; daughters, Beverly Vogel of St. Louis, Juanita Craycraft of Selma, Ind., Brenda Butler of Butte, Mont., and Glenda Simmons and Beryl Pippen, both of Alexandria; brothers, John Mathews, Thomas Mathews, Huey Mathews and Alfred Mathews, all of Alexandria; sisters, Delores Perkins, Shirley Brouillette and Myrthlee Vanhoof, all of Alexandria; 21 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
