On Monday, August 3rd, 2020, the Carr family lost their beloved father, grandfather and brother. Ronnie Carr passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. Ronnie was a genuine jack of all trades, imaginative tinkerer, joker and most importantly, he left a mark deep in the hearts of all who knew him.

Ronnie was born in Springfield, Missouri on July 22nd, 1954. He spent his life in the area, building relationships with family members and close friends. Ronnie graduated from Billings High School in 1972 and later began his 30+ year long career with Frisco Railway (later becoming BNSF).

Throughout his life and while building his family, Ronnie developed several passions and became a woodworking enthusiast, treasure-hunter, model train architect and Valentine’s Day box master craftsman. On hot summer days, you could find Ronnie happily floating down a river or fishing on a bank. Ronnie never missed the opportunity to admire a beautiful sunset or appreciate the beauty of nature. His family was his happy place and of all his roles, he loved being a Dad and Papa best.

Ronnie is survived in death by his children Travis Carr, Andy Carr, Nicole Carr, Karissa Shepperly, Jason Shepperly, Melissa Carr and Justin Clinton and his grandchildren Kamee Fenimore, Mikayla Carr, Kaleb Clinton, Kobe Clinton, Avery Clinton, Taylor Shepperly, Carson Shepperly, Amelia Carr, Penelope Carr and Oliver Carr. He is predeceased by his father, Leonard, his mother Ethel and his great granddaughter Hazel Raelynn.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 7th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Meadors Funeral Home in Billings, Missouri. Friends and family members are invited for the memorial and celebration of life service at Meadors Funeral Home in Billings on Saturday, August 8th at 10:00 am, with burial to follow at Rose Hill West Cemetery in Bill
