Mrs. Alice B. Rexwinkel, age 86, of rural Orange City passed away Tuesday, Oct. 15 at the Marian Health Center in Sioux City.

Alice was born May 26, 1899 near Orange City, the daughter of John Henry Beltman and Jacomina Van Amerongen Beltman. On June 17, 1919 she married John Cornelius Rewinkel near Orange City. They farmed southeast of Orange City in Nassau Township. Mr. Rexwinkel passed away Sept 23, 1970 at Orange City. In January of this year Mrs. Rexwinkel became a resident of the nursing wing at the Orange City Municipal Hospital.

Mrs. Rexwinkel was a member of the Reformed Church of Alton where she had been active in church women's organizations.

Survivors include two sons, Joseph of Alton and Henry of Orange City, one daughter, Mrs. Ivoran (Alma Ruth) Noe of Hawarden, three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one brother, William Beltman of Alton.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Rexwinkel was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.

Funeral services were held Friday, Oct. 18 at the Reformed Church of Alton, with the Rev. Ray Tilstra officiating. Interment followed at Nassau Township Cemetery near Alton under the direction of the Van Etten-Oolman Funeral Home of Orange City.
