Shrine Band Leader Known All Over State; End Comes Suddenly
Joe Kasparek, 53 years old, pioneer clothing dealer of Oklahoma City, widely known throughout the state for his thirteen years of leadership of the Shrine band, died of heart trouble at his home, 226 E. 11th street, Sunday night.
Kasparek had been sick only a short time when the end came. The body is at Street & Draper, funeral directors. Funeral arrangements await communication with relatives out of the state, friends of the family said.
He is survived by the widow, three sisters, Mrs. Amelia Knadle of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Mary Nemechek of San Diego and Mrs. Anna Schramek of David City, Neb., and two brothers, John and Ed also of David City.
Kasparek was a member of the Scottish Rite orders and the Civitan club.
He was associated with the B and M Clothing company for twenty-seven years prior to its sale to the Rothchilds company. Three years ago he left the B and M to go int business for himself, when he opened the Kasparek Clothing company at 118 N. Robinson avenue.

Funeral services for Joseph Kasparek, 53 years old, who died at his home, 226 E. 11th Sunday night, will be conducted from Harding Memorial hall, Masonic Temple, Wednesday afternoon, 2:30 o'clock. Interment in Memorial Park cemetery announced Street & Draper. He leaves his wife, three sisters, Mrs. Amelia Knadle, city; Mrs. Mary Nemechek, San Diego, Mrs. Anna Schramek, David City, Neb., and two brothers, John and Ed, also of David City.
