Daughter of John Anderson Wilson and Nancy Ann Holiman.

Wife of David Lee "Lee" Richardson, who she married in Yell County, Arkansas.

Lou's husband, Lee Richardson, had to hold his head to the side or his eyes would cross. He had been born in Blue Mountain, Mississippi. After leaving Arkansas, the family moved to Texarkana and then Houston, Texas. Due to harsh words with one or more of his children, Lee abandoned his family around 1915. He returned to the family around 1930 but never established a close relationship with his children again. He died shortly thereafter. Early in their marriage they suffered a tragic loss of one of their children. Logan was around one and one-half years old when, while playing in front of the fireplace, he rolled into the fire and was severely burned. Lou was outside and heard him crying but thought the child was only wanting attention, as she was busy with her washing. She didn't go to him right away and the baby died from his burns.
