Obit - "Mrs. Eldora Hunnicutt, aged 82, of Gravelly died Wednesday, June 1, 1960. She was a member of the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.

Survivors are her husband, George Hunnicutt; two daughters, Mrs. Irene Riley of Ola, Mrs. Mollicie Lemons of Gravelly; three sons, Fred Blackstock of Plainview, George Hunnicutt of Dumas, Albert Hunnicutt of Los Angeles, Calif; one brother, Rev. T. J. Wilson of Charleston; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Yates of Waldron, Mrs. Fannie Smith of Tulsa; 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Dora cared for her invalid mother until her mother's death in 1908, at which time she remained in the home to live with her father. She married "Uncle Mac" Hunnicutt in 1912. Dora and her first husband, Henry Blackstock lived in the Hartshorne, Oklahoma Territory region and often told stories of her life "When we lived in the Indian Territory". Henry died of pneumonia in 1904 and she moved back to Arkansas to be close to her parents.

Family history states that Aunt Dora had a mental disease and was sent to the State Hospital because it was thought she was losing her mind. It is now thought that she was suffering from the onset of Alzheimer's Disease.
