Mrs. Lela Ann Cook Eggers, 99, of Beaver Dam, died Friday morning December 3, 1982 at Watauga County Hospital.
Mrs. Eggers was born February 5, 1883 in Watauga County to the late Jacob and Mary Addlea King Cook. She was the wife of the late James Richard Eggers, a housewife and a member of the Beaver Dam Baptist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, one son, 19 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted Sunday afternoon at Beaver Dam Baptist Church, officiated by the Rev. Carl Johnson, the Rev. Carl Wilson and Dr. Paul Caudill. Burial followed in the Upper Beaver Dam Cemetery.
