Mrs. Lena Williams Foley, 84, died in Indianapolis last Friday, April 8, after a short illness. The body was returned to Russell Springs, and the last sad rites were held Sunday afternoon at Mt. Hope Church, conducted by Bro. J.A. Parker and Bro. John W. Smith. Burial was in the Rexroat Cemetery, with Rippetoe Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.

Mrs. Foley was married to John H. Foley in 1894, and to this union five sons were born, Wiltmer and Finis of Indianapolis, Esco of Covington, Ky., Homer of Russell Springs, and Hobert, who died in October, 1953. Her husband also preceded her in death, passing in 1908.

A brother, Mr. Luther Williams, also survives, as well as a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives, and many friends.

Mrs. Foley made a profession of faith in 1885 and placed her membership in the Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church, where she remained a faithful member until the end. She was a good woman, and will be greatly missed, not only by her immediate family, but by all who knew her.
