Funeral services for Alice E. Staley, 89, of Ada, will be held at 10:30 a.m. at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada, the Rev. Glenn Schwerdtfeger officiating. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada, OH.
Mrs. Staley died at 5:17 p.m., Saturday, at the Lost Creek Care Center, Lima, OH.
She was born July 31, 1902 in Ross County to Douglas V. and Mary (McQuirt) Kuhn. She married Archie G. Staley on August 23, 1920, and he died September 15, 1972.
Surviving are a son, John of Kenton, OH; three daughters, Mrs. Neil (Mary C.) Humphreys, Morgantown, WV; Mrs. Ralph (Florence) Wright, Ada, OH; Mrs. Norman (Dorothy) O'Brien, Port Charlotte, FL; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister and four brothers.
Mrs. Staley was a homemaker. She was a member of Sugar Grove United Methodist Church, Ada. She also was a Golden Sheaf member of the Liberty Grange, Ada.
