Louisa married Daniel A. Clingaman on December 22, 1874. She and Daniel had two children, Peter Minnich Clingaman (1876) and Jessie Lodema Clingaman (1879). Louisa was a homemaker and mother. She and Daniel bought land north of Wauseon, Fulton, Ohio in 1882 and in 1902 built their house on the land. Louisa lived there with her husband, daughter and son-in-law (Jessie and Carl Fauver) and, eventually her grandson, Stanley (see picture), until her death.
She died June 10, 1923. Her grave is beside Daniel's in Wauseon Union Cemetery. Daniel and Louisa's son, Peter Minnich Clingaman, and his wife, Edith Henrietta (Leu) Clingaman, are on the other side of the main Clingaman stone.
Her daughter, Jessie Lodema Clingaman Fauver, is buried in another section of the cemetery with her husband and son, Stanley.
