Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Pat Carathers, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at Vega by Vega Funeral Home.
Mr. Paschel was born in Johnson County, Kan., and had lived in Vega for 18 years. He had farmed in the Vega area and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
He married Dora White in 1932 at Lenexa, Kan. She died Aug. 1. He also was preceded in death by a daughter, Joan Harwell, in 1987.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Paschel and Michael Paschel, both of Hereford; a sister, Martha Rohrbach of Kansas City; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be to the American Cancer Society or a favorite hospice program.
