Kathryn Frances Strafuss, 85, of Hereford, died Friday, Dec. 15, 1989.

Rosary was to be recited at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and at 6 p.m. Sunday in Rose Chapel of Gililland-Watson Funeral Home.

Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Hereford with the Rev. Orville Blum and the Rev. Richard Scully officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Lawn Memorial Park.

Mrs. Strafuss was born in Kansas City, Kan. She married Lawrence J. Strafuss on June 6, 1931 at Kansas City. Her husband preceded her in death in 1983. She moved to Deaf Smith County in 1931. She was a homemaker and a Catholic.

Survivors include a son, Carl Strafuss of Hereford; a daughter, Loretta Urbanczyk of Hereford; two brothers, George Paschel of Vega and Fred Paschel of Amarillo; two sisters, Mamie Rohrbach of Hereford and Martha Rohrbach of Prairie Village, Kan.; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
