Enoch and his family lived in Kennebec Co., ME, for several years. He died of yellow fever "on passage from West Indies" (VR Edgartown to 1850). He was 43 years old, and left behind 6 children, all minors (though the oldest, Ann/Nancy, was married by the time of his death).
He was the brother of: Mary (Coffin) Ferguson, Love (Coffin) Allen, Sarah (Coffin) Jones, and Jedidah (Coffin) Beetle.
