Clara Louise Batt was the 4th of four children born to Mathias Batt and Helena Peiffenberger. Other siblings include: Ella N., Emma T. and William Frederick.
At age 25, Clara married George Francis Biddle. They had nine children: Elnora Noreen, twins-Torrence Richard and Calvin Cornelius, Orion Mathias, Clarabelle Louse, Hazel Deloris, twins-Alberta Christine and Albert Jerome, and Martha Jane.
Clara died of complications, shortly after giving birth to the ninth child.
