Funeral services for Zibe C. Nurse, 79, were held from the United Methodist Church, Dunlap, Iowa, Sunday March 30, 1969 at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Clarence M. Morrison officiated. Organists was Mrs. Robert Mitchell.

Internment was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Dunlap. Pallbearers were Verne Howe, Fritz Baldwin, Albert Hanneman, Ray Weber, Cliff Smith and Henry Termuhlen.

Zibe C. Nurse was born on March 21, 1890. He was the son of Walter and Jane Nurse. He lived all his life in the Dunlap community and was united in marriage to Minnie Fouts of Dow City on March 24, 1913. To this union one child was born. He was a member of the Dunlap United Methodist Church.

He has been preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Minnie Nurse; a daughter Mrs. Ruth Hewitt; and a sister Mrs. John Roth, all of Dunlap. He is also survived by three grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
He died on March 28, 1969 after a lingering illness at the age of 79 years and 7 days.
