The youngest child of Nathan and Sarah (Coffin) Lowe, Sarah was born on May 2, 1884. She married Walter H. Jackson on Sept. 22, 1916. They farmed in Union Township and were the parents of three children: sons Edwin R. and Emery Coffin and daughter Grace Ethel Fletcher.

Warren Mathis of the Fountain Square Christian Church in Indianapolis officiating. Burial was in the K. of P. Cemetery in Lizton.
