Daughter of William Pearson and Ann Cawson born in Clawthrope, Westmoreland, England (which is just north of Burton-in-Kendal listed above) and baptized or christened 22 October 1780. She married James Hacking 21 July 1799. They had three sons, James, who was born and died December 1800, William, and James.

JAMES HACKIN AND ANN PEARSON JAMES HACKIN aged forty-two years, and ANN PEARSON, of Clawthorpe, said spinster aged eighteen years, and upwards, with the consent of her father WILLIAM PEARSON were married by license 21 July 1799. Marriage solemnized in the Face of the Parish Church of Burton in Kendal, Westmorland,

Ann was mentioned in the will of her husband as living in November 1836, but we had no record until 20 February 2015 when burial records for both James Hacking and Anne Hacking in the Saint Luke Cemetery in Skerton were found.
