ANDREWS, James H., 86, of Roanoke, departed this life on Monday, September 6, 1999. He was the beloved husband of Muriel Dietz Andrews, who preceded him in death. Although his family and friends rejoice that he is now with the Lord, he will be sadly missed. Mr. Andrews is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, James W. and Olsie Andrews, of Portland, Ore., Bernard and Peg Andrews, of San Antonio, Texas, Alan and Becky Andrews, of Colorado Springs, Colo., and his daughter, Jan Van Horn, of Roanoke. He had nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at Oakey's South Chapel Thursday, September 9 from 6 to 9 p.m. The service to honor his life of service to the Lord, love for others and faithful prayer will be at Oakey's South Chapel on Friday, September 10 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Godwin Cemetery, Fincastle, Va. If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Navigators, P.O. Box 6000, Colorado Springs, CO 80934, to the Missions Outreach Program of Lake Church, 4565 Carman Dr., Lake Oswego, OR 97035, or Grace Covenant Building Fund, 756 Peters Creek Rd., Roanoke, VA 24017.
