Muriel Deitz Andrews, age 71, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on September 8, 1990. Although sadly missed, her family and friends rejoice in her rest with the Lord. She was a member of Grace Church. Surviving are her husband, James H. Andrews; sons and daughters-in-law, James W. and Olsie Andrews, Portland, Ore.; Bernard W. and Peggy Andrews, Naples, Fla.; Alan K. and Becky Andrews, Colorado Springs, Colo.; daughter, Jan Van Horn, Roanoke; grandchildren, Kristi Dotson, Juli Grose, Jaye Andrews, Annie Hill, Amy Andrews, Nancy Andrews, Sandy Andrews, Jenni Van Horn, Kimberly Van Horn; great-grandchildren, Alex and Ashley Dotson; brothers, Lawrence Deitz, Richwood, W.Va.; Dennis Deitz, South Charleston, W.Va.; Harold Deitz, Summersville, W.Va.; sister, Faye Sledd, Quinwood, W.Va. Memorials may be made to the Grace Church Missions Fund. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Grace Church, 2731 Edgewood Street, S.W., Roanoke, with the Rev. Everett L. Kier Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Godwin Cemetery, Fincastle. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday at Oakey's South Chapel.
