Son of Silas and Matilda "Bias" Risley. He along with his family came to Oklahoma from Missouri. He married Alice Gertrude Henson. They had seven children, Cliff, Aquila, Loretta Ray, Juanita Taylor, Jewel Rennalls, R.G., and Winford.
