Some researchers say Silas was born 12 MAR 1844 in Jasper Twp, Ozark Co., Missouri,
BUT:
Rae Wiggins Journals have Feb. 28, 1850. Per the 1850 Mo. Ozark Co. census, it shows Silas Risley in the household of Burton Risley and his wife Jane, as age 3/4 (8-9 mons.) and Census was taken on Sept. 12, 1850. So Silas was born on Feb. 28, 1850. RLW journals state that Silas died Nov. 28, 1908, But the tomb stone states yr of death as 1901.
Rae(Jones) Wiggins is the gr. niece of Silas Richard Risley.
