Alvin C. Faulkner, 81, of Wesley, Arkansas, died December 7, 2007 at his home. He was born January 15, 1926 at Cobb Creek, Arkansas, the son of Roscoe and Nannie Wood Faulkner.

He was a farmer and a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by five brothers, Johnny Evans, Clarence Faulkner, Theron Faulkner, Garland Faulkner and Hollis Faulkner and by one sister, Virgie Woods.

Survivors include: his wife, Imogene Parker Faulkner of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Linette Faulkner of Huntsville, Arkansas; one daughter and son-in-law, Tracy and Ron Redding of Oneana, Alabama; two stepsons and stepdaughters-in-law, Larry and Dora Parker and Bobby and Vera Keller, all of Brannon Mountain, Arkansas; one brother, Gordon Faulkner of Japton, Arkansas; one sister, Rosie Edens of Huntsville, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; seven stepgreat-grandchildren; and one stepgreat-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A. M. Monday, December 10, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with the Reverends Glen Faulkner and Gary Faulkner officiating. Interment will be in the Ledbetter Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville. Pallbearers will be: Travis Keller, Cody Keller, Zachary Parker, Yancy Parker, Josh Redding and Cory Faulkner.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 P. M. to 5:00 P. M. on Sunday at the funeral home.
