Clarence Albert Faulkner, 94, of Huntsville, died June 7, 2004, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born May 31, 1910 in Madison County, the son of Roscoe and Nanny Viola Woods Faulkner. He was a Baptist and a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Edna McCarver Faulkner and Thelma Brown Faulkner and two sons, Clifford Faulkner and Conley Faulkner.
Survivors include: two sons, Clevas Faulkner of Huntsville and Clayton Faulkner of Lowell; two daughters, Mildred Litterell of Springdale and Glenda Thompson of Huntsville; three brothers, Gordon Faulkner of Japton, Theron Faulkner of Denver, Colo., and Alvin Faulkner of Wesley; one sister, Rosie Edens of Huntsville; one stepson, Tim Brown of Fayetteville; one stepdaughter, Carlene Johnson of Huntsville; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Wed., June 9, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Shepherd and Bro. John Napier officiating. Interment was in Drakes Creek Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville.
Pallbearers were Lonnie Stamps, Jim Napier, Terry Litterell, Tim Litterell, Dusty Thomas and Fields Thompson. Honorary pallbearers were Chad Puryear, Josh Thompson, Terry Thomas, Mike Puryear, Case Thomas, Lew Thompson and Ronnie Simpson.
