his wife Nancy Abshire.

(Mary and Benjamin are buried in the
Bowman Cemetery, St. Joseph Co. IN).

(3.) Lucina (or Lucinda) Frame.
(4.) Clara J. (Frame) Huff.
(5.) Schuyler Colfax Frame.

first wife Emily, and their family,
living near South Bend, in Warren
township, St. Joseph County Indiana.

Mrs. Lucinda (Huff) Ritter (the former
wife of George Ritter. George and
Lucinda had two or more children).

(2.) Nettie (or Nellie) (Frame) Peoples.

weeks before Isaac's 73rd birthday).

Isaac held the office of
Justice of the Peace many years,
and Deputy Sheriff two years, and
also held the office of Constable.

Isaac died at the age of
80 years, 5 months, and 1 day.
He was buried in the Dunkard Cemetery,
now known as the
Portage Prairie Cemetery.

The following obituary for
Isaac A. Frame was published in the
"South Bend Tribune", newspaper, in
South Bend, Indiana, on July 16, 1898:

Funeral services were held over the
remains of Esquire I. A. Frame Sunday
at 12 o'clock conducted by Rev. C. L.
Harper, of the M. E. church. Mr.
Frame died at 7 o'clock on Friday
evening at the family residence,
221 West Michigan street after
five months of illness. He was
conscious until the last few hours
before death. He was one of the first
settlers of the county. He was born
in Ohio Feb. 7, 1818 and was 81 years
of age. He married for his first wife
Emily Jane Jones, who died Aug. 27,
1862, leaving four children, Mrs.
Mary Smith, of South Bend: Mrs. Clara
Huff of Wills township, Laporte county:
Mrs. Addie Kesler of Chicago, and
Mr. Schuyler C. Frame of Salt Lake
City, Utah. For his second wife he
married Miss Huff to whom two
children were born, Mrs. Dora Ham
and Mrs. Nettie Peoples of South Bend.
Mr. Frame was a member of the
Progressive Dunkard church and his
remains were taken to the Fair View
Dunkard church in Warren township
where the final funeral obsequies
were held and the interment took
place in the Dunkard cemetery
[now known as the Portage Prairie
Cemetery], four miles north of
Fair View. Mr. Frame married for
the third wife, Mrs. Jane Ranstead,
of this place, where he since resided
and who survives him. He filled the
office of justice of the peace many
years in South Bend and also in this
place.
