Georgetown, SC, Aug. 9 (Special)

Mrs. Della Eagerton Cooper, widow of Benjamin P. Cooper of Trio died at 4:05 a.m. Tuesday in Georgetown Hospital. She had been in declining health for several years and seriously ill since Friday.

Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Suttons Methodist Church. Officiating will be the pastor, the Rev. J. M. Aiken and the Rev. J. R. Dennis. Burial will be in the churchyard, directed by the Mayer Funeral Home of Georgetown.

Mrs. Cooper was born Oct. 29, 1875, and was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary Eagerton. She had spent her entire life in the Suttons and Trio sections of Williamsburg County and was a member of the Suttons Methodist Church. For a number of years she had made her home with her son S. Roy Cooper of Trio.

Surviving are two sons, S. Roy Cooper and Alec Cooper, both of Trio; three daughters, Mrs. C. W. Truesdale of Sullivans Island, Mrs. M. R. Norton of Andrews and Mrs. Bert Chavis of Trio; 24 grandchildren; and two brothers, J. F. Eagerton of Lanes and Dave Eagerton of Arcadia, Fla.
