The Bulloch County native had lived in Savannah for many years before returning to Portal, where she was very active in Portal First Baptist Church, in 1987.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph J. Stuckey Sr., Savannah; one daughter, Peggy Reed, Richmond Hill; two sons, Joseph J. Stuckey, Jr., Portal and Charlie G. Stuckey, Baxley; five sisters, Aletha Bowen, Garfield, Lillian Mead, Yulee, Fla., and Emma Hale, Cleo Olson, and Bonnie Moore, all of Savannah; three brothers, Ralph Sparks, Brooklet, James Sparks, Athens Tennessee, and Manfred Sparks, Savannah; and eight grandchildren.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at Portal First Baptist Church, with the Rev. James Bellis officiating, assisted by the Rev. Gary Robinson. Burial will be in Portal City Cemetery.
Nephews will be pallbearers.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Hodges-Turner Funeral Home.
The body will lie in state at the church one hour before the funeral.
