Miss Hazel E. Witwer, 85, of 125 N. Merrifield Ave., died in her home about 8 p.m. Monday of a sudden illness. She was born in Canton, Ohio, April 16, 1889, and came to Mishawaka 13 years ago from Canton. Surviving is a second cousin, Mrs. Ralph Sherry, with whom she lived.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, where services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday. Rev. Dale Sherry of Bedford, Mich., Mrs. Sherry's son will officiate and burial will be in City Cemetery. Miss Witwer was a member of the First Christian Church of Canton."
