John Fell Died Saturday
John D. Fell, 92, formerly of Toulon who had resided at Leisure Hills Health Center, Kewanee, died Saturday morning, April 27, 1974, at Kewanee Public Hospital.
He was the son of Robert and Margaret Nicholson Fell and was born in Toulon April 11, 1882. He married Maude Tuttle December 19, 1906, in Toulon.
He was a member of Modern Woodmen's Association and a past volunteer with the Toulon Fire Department.
Surviving are a son, Randall Fell of Toulon, two daughters, Mrs. Bernice Mordue, of Detroit, Michigan, and Mrs. Lucille Lynn of Winchester; four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. His wife and six sisters preceded him in death.
Services were held Monday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. at the Kidd Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Rottier of the Toulon Congregational Church officiating.
Mrs. Helen Schmidt was organist and pallbearers were Ralph Gerard, Leland Wickey, Ben Parker, Raymond Bennett, M. D. Arganbright and John Smith.
Burial was in Toulon Municipal Cemetery.
