Miles W. Kirkhoff

Miles W. Kirkhoff, 79, of 461 Indian Manor Drive, Ontenlaunee Township, died Friday at 7:20 p.m. in Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon.

His wife, Mildred L. (Sensenig) Kirkhoff, died in 1985.

Born in Penn Township, he was a son of the late Albert S. and Margaret P. (Davis) Kirkhoff.

He was a self-employed dairy farmer in Ontelaunee Township. He was also employed 55 years as clerk of sales for Leesport Farmers Market and Auction, last working Wednesday.

Kirkhoff was a member of Bern Lutheran Church, Bern Township.

He is survived by a son, David L., Leesport, and a daughter, Patricia A. (Kirkhoff) Yocum, Bern Township.

Other survivors include a sister, Margaret (Kirkhoff) Baer, Mohrsville; and three brothers, Richard, Wernersville, Leon, a resident of Berks Heim, and Elwood, Leesport.

There is also one grandson.

Services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, Bernville. Burial will be in Bern Cemetery, Bern Township.
