Louanna is the daughter of Henry and Nancy nee ROBERTS Caviness. Louanna married Catlett Lehue Montgomery in 1858 in Cherokee, San Saba Co., TX. To this union were born these known children: Jane, Mary, Jim, William Riley, Joseph Henry, Louticia, Maude J., James Alic and Elmer Alred Montgomery. Louana died at Rio Las Pinos, La Plata Co. (now Montezuma Co.), CO, during childbirth.

Catlett Lehue is the son of Joseph Johnston and Matilda nee HOWARD Montgomery. Catlett was born in 1836, in Kentucky, and is reported to have died in 1898 at Lawn, Taylor Co., TX. (this will have to be proven). Other references state that Catlett died in Arizona Territory.
