Orr died Nov. 11, at Prowers Medical Center following a lengthy illness.
Born on Sept. 9, 1901 in Meta, MO. Orr came to Colorado with his parents in 1918. He was united in marriage to Martha Eula Coffey, April 15, 1922 in McClave and they were residents of the area ever since.
They farmed near Las Animas at one time and operated a garage at Hartman for several years. He owned and operated Orr Implement Co. and Orr Auto Parts from 1936 until 1964 until retirement. They also farmed in the Wiley-Lamar areas before moving into Lamar in 1936.
A member of the Lamar United Methodist church, he is survived by his wife, Martha E. of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Dale (Loretta) Ellenberger and Mrs. Harvey (Louise) Drake and one son, Bernard Orr, all of Lamar, and two sisters, Nellie Adamson of Springfield, Colo. and Ida M. King of Lamar; and five grandchildren.

Mr. Orr was baptized Nov. 19, 1918 at age 17. at a Campground Meeting of the Christian Church at Meta, Missouri.
