Mary Ada was born, educated, married (January 4, 1883) and lived in Attleboro, MA until 1898 when the family moved to Brooklyn, NY. She had 4 siblings: Katherine Valarie, Bertha Horatia, Charles (born and died on the same day in 1880) and Charles Leon. Later she lived in Shelton, CT for 12 years and then lived in New Rochelle, NY until her husband's (Charles Henry Williams) death in 1928. She then spent winters in Florida and summers with her son, Charles Roger Williams of Providence, RI. She would send her grandson, Charles Roger, Jr...baby alligators from Florida each winter....much to his mother's great displeasure!
She was also a member of the D.A.R.
She is buried with her parents Charles B. DesJardins and Mary Elizabeth Capron DesJardins along with her son and daughter-in-law, Helen Starr Randall Williams, also her brother Charles Leon and her father's 2nd wife, Lillian F. McRae.
