She married Thomas L. Cashion in Fannin Co. Nov. 27, 1887. No children were born to this union, but she was step-mother to his six children from his marriage to Mary Frances Cowsert (also buried in this cemetery) who died in 1886. Her step-children were James Leon Cashion, Richard A. Cashion, Jesse Mason Cashion, A. Blanche Cashion, Allie Belle Cashion, and Thomas Bartley Cashion.
At the time of her death, Lizzie was 77 years old and living with her younger sister, Frances D. Countess, in San Antonio, Bexar Co., Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas L. Cashion.

"CASHION - Mrs. Elizabeth Cashion died at her home, 115 Warwick Blvd., Friday evening, aged 77 years. She is survived by sisters, Miss Frances D. Countess, Mrs. Ida Buskill and Mrs. Oscar J. Hill; brother, Robert E. Countess. Services will be held this Saturday afternoon at 5 o'clock at the Porter Loring Chapel, following which the body will be sent to Bonham, Texas for interment in that city. Rev. J.D. Armistead will officiate."
