FORSYTH -- Albert C. Blazer, 80, of Taylorville, formerly of Forsyth, died 11:50 p.m. Monday (May 27, 1996) in St. Vincent Memorial Hospital, Taylorville.
Mr. Blazer was born in Forsyth on July 18, 1915, the son of Albert C. and Sara Ann Fox Blazer. Mr. Blazer lived in Taylorville since 1962. He married Agatha Doane on Jan. 20, 1936. She preceded him in death on March 15, 1972. He then married Mary Pearson Speer on Dec. 23, 1972.
Surviving are his wife; sons, A. LeRoy and wife Marge of Forsyth; E. Joe and wife Pam of Decatur; daughter, Mrs. Robert (Joan) Jordan of Assumption; sisters, Bessie M. Parlier of Decatur; Imogene Remijan of Lyons; six grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren; one great-stepgrandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Agatha, one brother, six sisters, one grandson and one great-stepgrandson.
