She was my 2nd great grandmother. She had 13 children, the 13th of which was my great grandfather. Even though her stone was/is turned over, it was inscribed on three sides, and I am going to request a picture of it. In fact, I have requested that off and on for about 3 years. I have never heard one word as to why no one can or will find it and take a picture. Are there snakes all around it; is the owner of the property difficult to deal with, what? Even if you don't "claim" it as one that you are willing to do, could someone please tell me what is getting in the way? I'm about as far across our Country as you can get from Georgia. I don't mean any of that to sound snotty; I just sincerely would like to know.

I was given this list of Jacob's and her children by another FindAGrave member. I removed a #6 which was probably a typo, and I added the middle name for my great Grandfather, Tamerlane Xenophon Brooks.

Children of Jacob BROOKS and Sarah Gaddis:
i. LAWRENCE MANNING BROOKS.
ii. EMILY ANN GADDIS BROOKS
iiI. LEVI WELLBORN BROOKS.
iv. CINCINNATUS NEY BROOKS.

vi. GEORGE MCINTOSH BROOKS.
vii. LOUISA BLACK BROOKS.
viii. DEWITT CLINTON BROOKS.
ix. ATLANTA GEORGIANNA BROOKS.
x. KOSCIUSCO BYRON BROOKS.
xi. AENEAS LEONIDAS BROOKS.
xii. ROXANNA MELINDA BROOKS.
xiii. TAMERLANE XENOPHON BROOKS.

Jacob & Sarah Brooks were married 4 November 1819
