74, of Whitleyville will be held Thursday, October 4, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Anderson Funeral Home. Burial will be in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in Jackson
County.
Mrs. Newberry died Monday (October 1, 1990) in St Thomas
Hospital in Nashville.
Born July 31, 1916 in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Brockett and Minnie Allen Draper.
Mrs. Newberry was a homemaker and a member of Beech Grove
Church of Christ.
Her family includes one son, Preston Newberry Jr. of Westmoreland; one daughter, Mrs. L.T. (Marie) Sneed of Whitleyville; one brother, Selton Draper of Carthage; one sister, Mildred Clark of Jackson County; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Newberry was preceded in death by her husband, Preston Newberry Sr.
