GAINESBORO -- Funeral services for Mildred M. Clark, 91, of Cookeville, formerly of Jackson County, were held at 1 p.m. today, Monday, March 14, 2011, at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial was in John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Clark died Saturday, March 12, 2011, in NHC Helathcare of Cookeville.
She was born Nov. 2, 1919, in Jackson County to the late Brockett Draper and Minnie A. Draper.
Mrs. Clark was a homemaker and a member of Willow Avenue Church of Christ.
Her family includes a son and daughter-in-law, Joe M. and Elizabeth Clark of Cookeville; a granddaughter and her husband, Heather and Derrick Carter of Lakeland; two great-grandchildren; Camden and Cara Carter; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roggie W. Clark (who died April 3, 1985); a son, David Jack Clark; a brother, Selton Draper; and a sister, Alma Newberry.
