The writer has had the pleasure of having Bro. Richey for a co-laborer in the Church of Christ for many years. I was with him in his last hours here, saw his last movement while here, and not one time did he complain at his lot. He said he was ready and willing to go. He bade his children to live a good clean life.
He was buried at Pine Forest Sept 25, at 3:30 p.m. By his request, Bro. J A Dickey of Fort Worth came to speak words of encouragement to us all.
All of his children were at his bedside except Bob and Barnard, one of them being at Snyder and the other at Ralls.
Before I close, I must Say:
Rest on beloved brother,
until all days are o'er;
And then we'll meet together
On that Eternal Shore.
Where all is bliss and glory.
