Funeral services were held at the family home in the Concord community at 2:00 Thursday afternoon of last week for J.P. Richey, who passed away at 6:00 Wednesday morning, from the effects of a brief illness. Rev. C. A. Gilbreath, pastor of the Concord Baptist church officiated. Burial was made in the Omaha cemetery.
Deceased was 71 years of age, and had lived near Omaha most all of his life.
Surviving are his widow; four daughters, Mrs. L. R. Atwood and Mrs. Alvin Hampton of Dallas; Mrs. L. W. Gray of Omaha, and Mrs. E J Ray of Lufkin; two sons, J. J. Richey, and B. M. Richey of Dallas, and several grandchildren.
