MERVIN O. JACOBITZ

Mervin O. Jacobitz, 57, Rogersville, died at 12:40 a.m. today at St. Agnes Hospital following a brief illness.

He was born July 13, 1911, at Rogersville, a son of Charles and Rose Bluemke Jacobitz.

Mr. Jacobitz is survived by his mother, Mrs. Rose Jacobitz of Rogersville, and a sister, Mrs. Donald Toll of Rosendale. His father preceded him in death in 1955.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, Rogersville, with Pastor Glenn Davidson officiating. Burial will be in Rogersville Cemetery.

Friends may call from 3p.m. Sunday until 10:30 a.m. Monday at Candlish Chapel and thereafter at the church until the time of services.

Funeral services for Mervin O. Jacobitz, who died Friday, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, Rogersville, Rev. Glenn O. Davidson officiated. Miss Clara Zickert played the organ and Mrs. Wilma DeBoer was soloist. Burial was in Rogersville Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Raymond, Harold, Erwin and Learmont Jacobitz.
