Mervin O. Jacobitz, 57, Rogersville, died at 12:40 a.m. today at St. Agnes Hospital following a brief illness.
He was born July 13, 1911, at Rogersville, a son of Charles and Rose Bluemke Jacobitz.
Mr. Jacobitz is survived by his mother, Mrs. Rose Jacobitz of Rogersville, and a sister, Mrs. Donald Toll of Rosendale. His father preceded him in death in 1955.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, Rogersville, with Pastor Glenn Davidson officiating. Burial will be in Rogersville Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3p.m. Sunday until 10:30 a.m. Monday at Candlish Chapel and thereafter at the church until the time of services.
