Mrs. Rose H. Jacobitz, 83, a resident of Rogersville, died at 12:45 a.m. today at St. Agnes Hospital.
She was born Oct. 3, 1887, at Rosendale, a daughter of Albert and Ernestine Winke Bluemke. She was married to Charles F. Jacobitz on Sept. 28, 1910, at Rogersville.
The couple lived in Rogersville where Mr. Jacobitz was a blacksmith. She was a member of St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church at Rogersville and was a charter member of American Lutheran Church Women.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Donald Toll of Rosendale; three grandchildren; two sisters, Miss Emma Bluemke of Rogersville and Mrs. Elsie Grosse of Lamartine; and a brother Walter Bluemke of Rosendale.
She was preceded in death by her husband on June 20, 1955, a son, Mervin on April 4, 1969, and a sister, Mrs. Bertha Henning on Nov. 22, 1970.
Funeral services for Mrs. Jacobitz will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church at Rogersville.
Pastor Glenn O. Davidson will officiate and burial will be in Rogersville Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 p.m. Friday until 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Candlish Chapel and thereafter at the church until the time of services.

The Rev. Glenn O. Davidson officiated. Organist was Mrs. Lester Leu and soloist was Mrs. Peter De Boer. Burial was in Rogersville Cemetery.
Bearers were Gordon Pucker, Kenneth Garb, Ivan Grosse, Gerald Ott, Leo Ballwanz and Alfred Ballwanz
