GENEVA McCALL

Services are pending with Denton Funeral Home for Geneva Caviness McCall, 79, who died today in a local nursing home.

Mrs. McCall had lived in Carlsbad 52 years, having moved here from Plainview, Ark.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church, American Legion Auxiliary, Order of Eastern Star and Daughters of the American Revolution.

Survivors include the widower, J.S. McCall, Carlsbad; one daughter, Mrs. Russell Hayworth, Carlsbad; three brothers, Roy Caviness, Winslow, Ariz., Neal Caviness, Louisville, Ky., and James Caviness, Carlsbad; three sisters, Mrs. Mabel Vandiver, Whittier, Calif., Mrs. Oda Lofland, Bluffton, Ark., and Mrs. Lola Wilson, Vivian, La.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services for Geneva Caviness McCall will be held Monday at 9 a.m. at Denton Funeral Home Chapel.

Dr. L.B. Trone, retired Methodist minister, will officiate. Burial will be in Carlsbad Cemetery.

Pall bearers will be Buford Norrid, Mass Maloney, Don Cunningham, Ray Anaya, Jimmy Phillips and Robert Haupt.
