Born in Los Angeles, to the late Hewlings Mumper and Winifred Cora Ambrose, Charles was a 7th generation descendant of German immigrants (Georg Michael and Anna Margaretha) who settled in Pennsylvania in 1750. He was the beloved husband of Julia Ann NEUDORFF, father to four loving sons (Gary, Kenneth, William, and Bruce), grandfather to thirteen, great-grandfather to twelve, and a friend to all. He was preceeded in death by his parents, and two brothers; Norris McAllister Mumper and Richard Hewlings Mumper.
