I seek dead people. (I do genealogy)

Why I do this: As a genealogy enthusiast, I like to help contribute cemetery data to searchable digital databases to make it easier for people to research their family histories. I hope one of the memorials I entered will be a needle in the haystack for someone researching a family tree.

Grave locations: I mainly go to cemeteries and take photos in person, so I don't have grave coordinates. I've added/transcribed more than 12,000 memorials and I simply don't have time to look up each one. If you are family seeking to visit in person, the cemetery office will assist you in locating the grave.

Transfers: If you are a friend or relative of someone for whom I created a memorial and you'd like to take over management of the page, just let me know. I'm not possessive about holding onto memorials.

Photo usage: Use my photos however you want. I probably spent 5 seconds taking a photo of each grave. I don't consider them intellectual property. I don't understand why some other gravers get bent out of shape over people using their photos.

Photo duplicates: If I add a duplicate grave photo, it's generally because the previous one is low-resolution or poor quality, if additional engravings were added, or if it's decorated for a holiday. Before asking me to remove a duplicate, please look at all the pics in full-size mode to assess which should be the one removed.
