Clyde Orville Allen, 77, of Marshall, father of Kingfisher resident Vicky Allen, died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011, in Enid.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the First Christian Church in Marshall with the Rev. Alan Sample officiating. Burial will follow in the North Marshall Lions Cemetery under direction of Abernathy-Aaron Funeral Home in Crescent.

He was born March 20, 1933, in Orlando to Lloyd N. and Ellen Tarrant Allen.

He graduated from Marshall High School in 1951.

He married Carolyn Pollard on June 4, 1952, in Marshall.

He was a longtime farmer and rancher.

He was on the Marshall Coop Board, served on the Rural Water Board and was a charter member of the FFA.

He was a member of the First Christian Church in Marshall and later transferred his membership to the Union Chapel Church.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn of the home; one son, Kim Allen of Enid; one daughter, Vicky Allen of Kingfisher; one brother, Vernon Dale Allen of Guthrie; three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Lloyd Gene Allen.
