Lloyd Gene Allen Sr., was born July 5, 1929 to Lloyd N. Allen and Ellen Marie (Tarrant) Allen in Marshall, OK.. He graduated from Marshall High School in 1947. Later moving to Enid, OK., and working for Failings. Lloyd married Millie “Bonnie” Lavaughn Musgrove Sept. 28, 1948. For the last 31 years Gene had operated Allen’s Kerr McGee in Enid. A resident of Enid, he died at the age of 66, Aug. 9, 1995 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Enid, OK.. Survivors were his wife; two daughters, Bonnie Jean and husband Jessie Kitchens, and Kathy and husband Ben Wilkins; three sons, Lloyd Gene Allen Jr.,and wife Rose, Glen Dale Allen, and Jerry Lee Allen and wife Lori. He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson; and twin great granddaughters. The funeral service was Aug. 12, 1995 at Henninger-Allen Chapel in Enid, OK., with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery, Enid.
