Born January 27, 1923, in St. Matthews, she was a daughter of the late Cleveland and Dosia Arthur Bozard. She had retired from W.H. Faver Oil Co. of Eastover. A longtime resident of Eastover, she was an active member of Eason Memorial Baptist Church, where she served as church secretary for over 30 years, and was a former member of Eastover Garden Club. She loved to crochet and won several ribbons at the State Fair for her needlework.
Surviving are her sons, Lewis D. 'Buddy' Faver Jr. (Sharon) of Lakeside City, Texas, Howard C. Faver (Sandy), Alan L. Faver (Johnnie Marie), all of Hopkins; daughter, Mary Claire Dominick (Robert) of Saluda; 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Ernestine Campbell.
Funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, January 9, 2011, at Eason Memorial Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. Visitation will precede the service from 2-3 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Connie Maxwell Children's Home, P.O. Box 1178, Greenwood, SC 29648 or the charity of one's choice
