Milan Twp., MI--Age 86, died Friday at his home. He was born December 14, 1912 in Archbold, Ohio, to Fabian and Apolena (Check) Benedick. He married Georgia Svestka August 6, 1932 in Monroe; she died September 2, 1994. He retired in 1972 from Ford Motor Ypsilanti Plant as a general foreman. He was a life member of Milan Masonic Lodge F&AM.

Cremation has been held. Private graveside services will be held at Marble Park Cemetery in Milan. A memorial luncheon will be Wednesday 12 noon, November 24 at Marble Memorial Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, three daughters, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a brother, Joseph.

He was preceded by his wife, brothers Frank and John and sisters Mary Holek, Frances Sekerka, and Pauline Cufr. Memorial may be made to Hospice of Washtenaw. Arrangements by Cover Funeral Home in Dundee.
