Mrs. Betha J. Holton, 84, of the Hillview Care Center, formerly of Green Avenue Tower, died unexpectedly Sunday afternoon, April 30, 1995, at Altoona Hospital emergency room.
She was born Sept. 3, 1910, in Huntingdon, the daughter of William Plemer and Dorothy Jane (Dell) Heck. She married Clarence Jl. Holton on Nov. 28, 1928, in Huntingdon. He died Dec. 14, 1992.
Mrs. Holton was a member of Altoona Bible Church and its choir.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are three sons: John P. of Jacksonville, Pla., and Ralph E. and Jess, both of altoona; a daughter, Dollie J. Neuhart of Mechanicsburg; 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Eddith J. Lenz, preceded her in death.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at E. Merrill Smith Funeral HOme, Juniata.
HOLTON - Services for Betha J. HOlton, formerly of Green Avenue Tower, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at E. Merrill Smith Funeral Home Inc., 315 7th Ave., Juniata by Pastor Kenneth L. Peebles. Interment at Blair Memorial Park. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at E. Merrill Smith Funeral Home Inc., 315 7th Ave., Juniata. In remembrance of Betha J.
