He was a member of the Arkansas State Militia 1st Calvary, Co H prior to the Civil War. When the War started he became a part of Dollars Arkansas 21st Infantry Regiment as a Private; later was promoted to Corporal with the 4th Battalion Arkansas Infantry, Co E.
He married Dialpha Caroline Canada while home on leave 1 Jan 1863 in White County. They had 8 children together. After Caroline's death Anderson L married Eliza G Gabreath in 1891 and they produced 6 children together.
Anderson was a Farmer his whole life. He died 6 May 1924 on his his farm in El Paso, White County. He is buried in Stoney Point Cemetery, Beebe, White County, along with a number of other Fisher relatives.∼Co. H., Ark. Mil. Confederate States of America
